English
This is why we love to learn a new language because it gives us the opportunity to discover the world and to get to know new people and cultures. It is often hard work to learn a language but it does not have to be.
So welcome everyone who wants to enter the adventure of learning English!
Shakespeare's High
Due to the continuing coronavirus crisis the Seminarkurs from Mrs Verdenhalven was not able to present their play. The play was a self-written adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labor’s Lost” and would have been a highlight of the semester. Even though the play will not be performed, the memories will be kept. For our potential audience we have a collection of impressions from our rehearsals.

You have the plan to study abroad, you favour a bachelor or master degreecourse in English, or you plan a year abroad after your A level? Well then, the Marie-Curie High school is the place to be! Because it is “TOEFL-Time” once a year.
If you are a student attending a senior class you will get the chance to participate in the TOEFL test (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and you will receive a certificate which authenticates your success. The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 10,000 colleges, universities and agencies in countries all over the world. It is a multiple choice test that measures your ability to use and understand English at a university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.
The test takes place in school and costs only 20 € per person. In order to register or for any further question please contact your English teacher or the head of section, Mrs Verdenhalven.
